Speed speed lover games not over

Another thing that blew me away was the technical accuracy of it all. Sure Initial D has its share of creative license, but here was a story where characters talked about oversteer, understeer, late braking, LSDs and the differences between naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines. It was easy to see how the creators of the story had worked closely with real drivers to nail the technical details, and the result was something that felt very real.

The characters and stories of Initial D were also much more grounded in reality. Initial D was a perfect mix of humor, realism and great storytelling.

Despite the fact that it was a fictional animated series, Initial D served as my first real exposure to Japanese car culture as it exists in its homeland. I was so impressed with Initial D that I hopped on Ebay and purchased a Hong Kong bootleg of the whole series and then proceeded to watch the entire thing over the course of a couple nights. Not long after this I sold my 5. It was pretty much bandwagon jumping I know, but at this time the drift scene in America was just starting to get off the ground and you could still find stock S13s in reasonable condition for not much money.

Total fanboy status. Track this topic Email this topic Print this topic. Posted: Oct 30 , PM. Max Power Movie Size - Dr. Love feat. Posted: Oct 31 , AM. Well not all songs from the movie are on that Soundtrack. I did what I did for a reason. For certain songs I could name so many Albums that each has been on.

Each one being different. What I am doing is naming what people hear in the movie. When it is Movie Size the song isnt exactly the same as the original. Posted: Sep 11 , AM. I downloaded Third Stage the intro has "Welcome to the next level".

If it is Gamble Rumble, excuse me. Posted: Sep 12 , AM. Posted: Sep 12 , PM. It's too bad that "Crazy Night" by Boys Band wasn't in the movie itself. You gotta get the soundtrack to hear that one It was like that moment in "Crime and Punnishment" when the lead character notices that everything has gone so smoothly that he knew he was missing out on something big, and wouldn't you know it, he overlooked his bloodsplattered clothes from the murder.

From the time that my brother told me that we was gonna get it to the time I actually got it, I was scared. I was scared that something might happen to it on the way to get it smogged. Or on the way home someone will hit it.

Because innocent people get hurt all the time by drunks and inattentive people behind the wheel. Plus he always parks it on the street so I was fearful of a break in or something. I'm glad I got this car instead of the other Supra I saw. The other supra I saw. You actually do research and shop around to see who else is biting and wanting to jump on it.

The second Supra me and my brother went to see was this red number: non turbo, stick, stock rims. The former owner took the supra stock spoiler and put it on the back of this Supra. It does not match like a blind person watching a porno. Just like that, it didn't make sense, but my brother reassured me it can be taken off.

It also had a lot of stickers. Riding in it, I couldn't ignore the fact that that thing was slow. I thought I'd be cool in a non turbo, but damn that piece of fudge was slow. It was better than my Jeep, but marginally better than the Civic. Sort of like Wei Cong's 95 sx. I thought those power adders would make a difference, but it didn't. Makes me curious how slow it'd be without those accessories. Maybe the spoiler really did slow us down that much. Either ways, I think I would have kept the spoiler on for a week to see what kind of reaction I get out of people.

I would have gotten to work on that thing, taking off that "Special Edition" emblem where the turbo emblem would be. It also had what appears to be a failed attempt to put a Toyota emblem on the front end. This is listed in order of which is they felt would better suit my needs than the Supra. Oddly enough, my brothers never once suggested a Cel ica , gt , Accord or a sx to get. My brother tells me not to fix it up. Turns out a lot of people would like to mess with this car and if I don't make it stand out, I won't be a victim.

Which sort of makes sense and doesn't at the same time. But so far I did "install" some red Greddy shoulder pads. Those get 40 more horses in my mind. The alignment is off, it steers to the right, it's pretty damn quiet for an old school car though, it needs new tires, the back tint needs to go, it only has a tape player and there are no cupholders.

What the hell, my jeep had a cup holder. But it's ok. I'm not really tripping off that minor detail. I'm a miata killer, mr2's die too, look out civic , better hide when I find you. This bov sounds like a knife cutting through air. Or a scene in those Anime cartoons where two samurais run at each other with some long ass swords, and all you hear is the sound of the swords unsheathing and leaves blowing.
