To be strategic, students are encouraged to communicate interest in this dual-degree program as early as possible and to work very closely with both institutions to devise a sensible and comprehensive long-term enrollment plan. A student must complete the first year of the JD Full-Time Day Program curriculum before starting coursework in the other program. A student must complete all of the degree requirements at both schools before receiving the JD and MBA degrees. A student admitted to the dual-degree program will receive 9 credits from the MBA program applied to the JD requirements and 12 credits from the JD program applied to the MBA requirements, reducing the time-to-degree from five years, if the degrees were pursued separately, to four years.
